Abby's round gown is now complete. She is delighted by the pretty hem finishes and loves swirling around to show off the train. The designer personally approved of the blue satin sash. Now the shop is stitching up the open robe to go over the gown, and the milliner has been deciding on the turban styles to go with.

The cordwainer does need to work on some shoes soon.

The designer finally decided that Lavinia will sport a 1780's style outfit and the wig dresser created a fashionable hairstyle using the Plume style illustrated in Kendra Van Cleave's book 18th Century Hair and Wig Styling.

While Lavinia was waiting for the wig to be dressed, a pair of ears was finally constructed and applied. And the designer gave Lavinia a makeover. Everyone is much happier with this new look. A pair of the prettiest earrings was added as the final touch.

The back of the wig is set, but a proper bow will not be added until the dress is completed. The long fall is removable, allowing for a number of different looks.

There is sure to be a lot of lace and frills in Lavinia's future, so do check back to see what the shop gets up to next.

As always, feedback is welcome and encouragement appreciated.
